On December 7, 2025, our students - Lu Nga Wun Grace and Huang Jingqi Karen - gathered for an afternoon that put reading at the heart of growth with entrepreneur Joanna Hotong and Olympic swimmer Siobhan Haughey. 

The students enjoyed the inspiring conversations between the two speakers about empowering young girls and how reading shaped their personalities. They learnt from Siobhan's perspective drawn from Everything I Know About Love that resilience and self-care are the quiet strengths that fuel achievement. They then applied it by comparing traditional interpretations with digital-text analysis.

The afternoon equipped both students with a concrete, AI-assisted approach to literary analysis, and they are ready to apply these insights in their learning.
