Unforgettable Summer Memories from Our UK Study Tour
After last year’s successful study tour to Britain, 30 students from S1 to S4 embarked on an unforgettable two-week journey to the United Kingdom this summer to enhance their English proficiency and discover their talents in the language arts from 25/7 to 7/8.

Just like last year, our students stayed at the historic Tonbridge School in Kent, experiencing life in a traditional British boarding school. This year’s programme centred on language arts, with engaging lessons in drama, singing, dancing, poetry, and creative writing led by passionate native English teachers. Students learned to use their voices, movement, and words to express their ideas and emotions with confidence.

The itinerary featured visits to popular spots such as Buckingham Palace, the British Museum, Hampton Court, the University of Cambridge, and St Paul’s Cathedral, giving our students authentic opportunities to practise English while gaining a deeper understanding of British culture. Other highlights included watching the musical Wicked and taking part in a drama workshop at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. To round off the study tour, our students staged a wonderful final performance featuring drama, music and poetry, and created a magazine to reflect on and showcase their learning.

This incredible trip not only boosted our students’ confidence in using English, but also helped them develop teamwork, independence, and a deeper appreciation of different cultures. Huge congratulations to all the students who took part, and a big thank you to our teachers for making this journey of growth and discovery such a success!
