Stage Lighting Effects Workshop at North District Town Hall
Stage Lighting Effects Workshop at North District Town Hall
On 4 November 2025, seven of our students participated in the Stage Lighting Effects Workshop at the North District Town Hall, organized under the School Arts Education Schemes.
The workshop provided a comprehensive introduction to basic stage setting and operation, led by an experienced stage management team. Students observed demonstrations of various lighting effects and were invited to take part in an interactive session, where they experimented with creative ideas to produce special stage effects.
The workshop lasted two and a half hours, offering participants a rare opportunity to explore the technical artistry behind theatre productions. Students gained valuable insights into how lighting can transform a performance, from setting the mood to creating dramatic visual impact.
This experience not only broadened their understanding of performing arts but also encouraged them to think creatively about how backstage elements contribute to storytelling. We are proud of our students for their enthusiasm and engagement in this unique learning opportunity.
