Fostering Character through History: Students Shine at ‘G.R.I.T. X Renaissance Day’
On October 23rd, our English and History panels co-hosted the dynamic ‘G.R.I.T. X Renaissance Day’ to cultivate positive values—Gratitude, Resilience, Integrity, and Self-trust through Renaissance stories. More than 300 students gathered in the covered playground for an afternoon of immersive learning.
A series of energetic game booths seamlessly wove historical stories with character development. Students showcased appreciation at the Gratitude Bucket, explored legendary comebacks, navigated ethical puzzles in the Integrity Maze, and combined archery with eloquence in the Self-trust Quote Challenge. The fun continued at the Book Recommendation Booth with a lively spinning wheel quiz featuring titles from Wonder to the Harry Potter series. The event created an electric atmosphere, with students enthusiastically collecting stamps to redeem prizes like plush keychains and specially designed Renaissance folders.
The event was a resounding success, masterfully encouraging students to practice English with confidence while embracing the timeless lessons of G.R.I.T. in a fun, dynamic setting.
